The evidence that flexibility could meet excellence

MM Tempering is a leader in Georgia’s glass industry. Three words are enough to define this family owned company, born in 1979: brilliant, unique, and affordable. MM Tempering is involved in the production of tempered glass, shower doors, glass shelves and more. Along his growing path MM Tempering has looked always for better partners, for quality, that could help the company to go further limits, until excellence.

One of this partners is Mappi, the Italian company that produces the renowned tempering furnaces. We have met a representative of MM Tempering to discover more about this choice. “We have chosen a Fox, the ‘little-one’ of Mappi furnaces. It’s a 1500x3200, and we prefer it because it’s perfect for our needs.”

“We need flexibility, ease of use, the opportunity to create small batches, and, of course, the better quality of glass, the perfect control of any aspect of tempering process, full reliability, reduced energy consumption.”

It might seem like a wish book. Have you found all these features in your new furnace?

“Yes, absolutely! The new furnace has only been in operation for a few weeks, yet we have already seen the difference. It’s the protagonist of our workflow!”

Which are your typical customer?

“We're proud to be the premier source for custom glass projects, both residential and commercial. Our aim is to be creative, contemporary, classy, and totally eye-catching, able to have pleased even the pickiest of customers.”

Mappi furnaces are well known for their 4.0 approach, have you found any advantages in it?

"Ease of use is a strength of the new furnace: it is able to optimize and automate many decisions, leaving the operator free to focus on what is truly relevant."

“We are really convinced that we have found the best partner for our company!”
