Evalam launches Evalam UC+, an interlayer that is the result of the research and continuous tests that characterize the strategic line of the Spanish company in the development of high quality products.

Evalam, a leading European company integrated within the Pujol Group and whose core business is focused on the development, production and commercialization of interlayers for the architectural, decorative, safety and photovoltaic sectors, launches Evalam UC+, an interlayer that is the result of the research and continuous tests that characterize the strategic line of the Spanish company in the development of high quality products.

Evalam UC+ is a significant evolution for the photovoltaic market as it has been designed with the main purpose of maximizing the capture of light from the ultraviolet spectrum and thus achieving the absorption of the greatest quantity of light in the crystalline silicon layers of the photovoltaic panels. the aim is to maximize the light uptake in the cells with a UV cut-off marked at 220 nm versus other products with much higher values in this spectrum.

The new Evalam UC+ provides a crosslink level of over 87%, which guarantees durability, stability and a high resistance to humidity after lamination. Its high adhesion level of over 140 N/cm assures that, under normal environmental conditions, the properties of the product will not be altered.
