Satinal revolutionizes the concept of design introducing STRATO® COVER.

The mission of Satinal has always been offering the right response to customers’ needs, producing the best solutions for laminating glass with STRATO® EVA glass interlayers product range.

A long-term growth project that aims to respond to the demands of an increasingly aware international clientele and, at the same time, to progress in step with the evolution of the market and the growth of demand.

Therefore, the product portfolio of Satinal is constantly evolving: since 2017 Satinal has been understanding the aesthetic advantages of EVA interlayers, founding its own brand STRATO® EVA Interlayers, 100% made in Italy, meeting the requests of architects and designers from all over the world.

A finished product offering great results indoor as well as outdoor. STRATO® EVA is not a hygroscopic material, which means resistance to humidity and to water infiltration in the corners of laminated glass, avoiding the risk of delamination.

STRATO® COVER is one of the most recent products included in STRATO® product range.

The concept has its roots in the local craftsmanship that, by veneering furniture, offered modern and innovative shapes and textures. STRATO® COVER is an evolution, offering a new key to the design world. The glass, while being covered, allows the transmission of light that, in turn, gives rise to plays of light and shadow.

An innovative use of glass and its additional components, which creates new and interesting applications. In short, an innovation in innovation that lends itself to a new function. The STRATO® EVA becomes the crosslinking both glass and various types of surfaces and decorative materials, allowing the design of glasses with solid colours, or marble effect texture, or even woven straw or denim effect.

Multiple possibilities come to life thanks to the new STRATO® COVER range, which allows architects and designers to sign exclusive and unique projects.

Moreover, STRATO® COVER personalizes all types of glass, even the thinnest one, thanks to a chemical tempering process that increases the mechanical resistance.

Satinal SpA has been the first STRATO® EVA film production site in Italy, a reference point in Europe for the supply of 100% made in Italy interlayers.

The application of STRATO® EVA film is a process requiring great precision for the applied temperatures and cycle times. The quality controls, which are carried out in Satinal’s R&D Lab, aim to guarantee perfect adhesion of the material to the glass surface. The deep experience acquired by Satinal in the treatment of EVA-based materials is essential to master its potential applications and fully exploit their characteristics.
