Folienwerk Wolfen’s 44.2 laminated glass with evguard® interlayer has earned top fire performance certifications, marking a key milestone in glass safety and reliability.

Tested according to DIN EN 13501-1, the glass achieved a B-s1-d0 classification, indicating excellent fire behavior, minimal smoke production, and no flaming droplets. Additional tests under DIN EN ISO 11925 and DIN EN 13823 (SBI) confirmed no ignition and no after-burning, reinforcing the product’s high safety standards.

These results reflect Folienwerk’s deep-rooted commitment to quality and innovation. Built with premium raw materials, evguard® delivers high performance in diverse conditions—offering impact resistance, weather durability, acoustic insulation, fire safety, and saltwater resistance. It meets demanding architectural and safety requirements, including DIBt approval and Miami-Dade checklist #0445, while also adhering to rigorous hygiene standards.

With extensive experience in sectors such as medical, pharmaceutical, automotive, and food, Folienwerk Wolfen continues to lead in multifunctional laminated glass solutions.
