Mexican group Vidanta Cruises has launched a large project consisting in the refurbishment of five cruise ships, to be carried out in the harbours of Naples and Genoa, in Italy.

Part of the work includes replacing the ships’ glass balustrades. EVERLAM is proud to have been selected by Vetro Italia as a trusted partner for providing the PVB film that goes in the laminated glass for this project.

First ship in the series, Vidanta Elegant completed its refurbishment at the beginning of 2019. In its refurbished version, the ship is now equipped with balustrades made of glass from Vetro Italia, which is laminated with EVERLAM™ CLEAR PVB 1.52 mm.

Four more ships are now expected to go through similar renovation.

Marco Cadioli, Business development manager commented: “We are very proud to take part in such project. For EVERLAM, getting a foot in the luxury marine market was a challenge that is proving very rewarding.”
