This year, the glass community will gather at Glasstec, 20-23 October, Dusseldorf, Germany.

RCN is working to prepare its participation with interesting news and proposals for innovative machines with high performance.

It is more a corporate project, not just a matter of being there. The aim is to show concrete innovations and carry out demonstrations, work that cannot be done without adequate preparation of the team.

RCN is known for the construction of laminating lines, bending furnaces and chemical tempering lines. The company is able to design whole production systems where the machine is the heart and the real value is the integration to maximize production based on process, automation, software and know-how. The importance of the system lies not only in the technology it uses, but also in the impact it has on the process, bringing some benefits such as efficiency, error prevention, energy saving, quality, scaling, control and UX.

In lamination, RCN offers complete systems, developed using high-end materials and value-added services, among which the use of different laminating interlayers.

RCN SOLUTIONS is specialized in manufacturing kilns for bending by gravity. Curved glass has an important light interaction - its surface gradually modifies the direction of the rays of light, depending on the shape – the role of the machine in granting even heat distribution is fundamental for the final result. Adding curved glass to existing processing capabilities means meeting a range of customers requiring high-specialised products.

The chemical tempering process is also important to allow a naturally fragile material like glass to become much more resistant to stress. Chemical strengthening not only increases the mechanical strength of glass, it also enables the glass to maintain a high degree of flatness and geometric precision.
