EVERLAM is proud to have been selected as sole supplier of PVB interlayer for phase one of the project.

Replacing former Istanbul Atatürk Airport, the new Istanbul Grand Airport, which opened earlier this year, stands out as a beautiful piece of architecture that creates a memorable impression on anyone stepping inside.

The terminal’s modern design, characterised by high vaulted ceilings, pillars and natural light that create an open volume and a sense of space, captures the soul of Istanbul, its Byzantine and Ottoman origins and position as the bridge between Europe and Asia. Due to be completed in 2027, it will be the largest airport in the world with the capacity to accommodate 200 million passengers a year.

EVERLAM was proud to have been selected as sole supplier of PVB interlayer for phase one of the project. We delivered 500,000 sqm of EVERLAM™ CLEAR 1.52 mm for use in the laminated safety glass that equips the large terminal facade and multiple balustrades as well as five pier buildings.

These substantial glass panels are impressive and contribute largely to the sense of space and awe that one feels when walking through the airport.
