Tvitec manufactured more that 4,500 metres of high-performance glass for the new Campus Futura Airbus in Getafe (Madrid-Spain).

It is the third largest aerospace station of its kind in Europe. Tvitec glass, with seamless installation from Ingeniería de Fachadas Proinller, and design from the Lamela architecture studio. The double-glazing features Guardian’s SNX 60 high-performance coating to maximise efficiency and energy saving.

Much of the insulating units feature strengthened and laminated security glass with butyral to mitigate the acoustic impact. As a result, the project has already been awarded BREEAM Very Good level sustainability certification. His Majesty King Felipe VI presided over the inauguration of the corporate headquarters.
