A+W software will guide the glass fabrication process for Lippert Components at their new Bristol, Indiana, manufacturing facility. One type of glass fabricated at the new facility will be safety glass for school buses and RVs.

Indiana-based Lippert Components (NYSE: LCII) recently selected A+W Software as their glass processing software partner at the company’s newest fabrication facility in Bristol, Indiana. As the latest company to adopt A+W’s software solution for their glass fabrication needs, LCI will employ a professional, cost-effective software solution bills of materials creation, order processing, and production planning and equipment integration.

As a leading supplier to the marine, recreational vehicle, utility vehicle, bus and building products industries (not to mention many other industries), LCI employs over 9,000 team members throughout multiple plants, states, and countries. As a leader with a customer-first business philosophy, high quality products, and quality service, they sought a scalable software solution to fuel the next stage in their growth plan. A+W’s software solution will allow LCI to meet the complex, growing demands of their customers, according to Tim Widner, Director of Glass Fabrication & Technical Services.

A+W software solutions will be used in “the production of tempered, laminated, and insulated glass for a wide variety of industries including:  RV, Marine, UTV, school buses, coach/touring buses, rail cars, and specialty vehicles. Our partnership with A+W will allow us to produce highly engineered, quality glass products that meet the highest industry standards,” according to Tim.

“When working with an industry leader, such as LCI, flexible, scalable, and compatible software solutions–three hallmarks of A+W BusinessPro–were vital to the fabricator’s present and future growth,” according to John Staiano, COO of A+W Software North America. “Our customers face the same challenges and opportunities as all manufacturers. These challenges and opportunities require software that integrates order management, inventory control and planning, production control, scheduling, and finance. As LCI grows, our software has the flexibility and scalability to grow with them.”
