Kuraray will participate in the 232nd edition of Zak World of Façades USA, taking place on October 14, 2026, at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers, in New York.

At 10:00 AM, Kuraray’s J Alberto Alarcon will deliver a presentation titled “Designing for Strength and Sound: Structural and Acoustic Performance in Laminated Glass.”

The session will explore how a single interlayer can combine structural stiffness with improved acoustic performance, addressing key design considerations such as strength, post-breakage behavior, and sound control. It will also examine architectural applications where integrated structural and acoustic properties can simplify glazing design.

The event marks the eighth edition of Zak World of Façades in New York, bringing together façade professionals to discuss sustainable innovations, high-performance materials, and emerging technologies shaping the future of building envelopes.
