Kuraray is excited to announce the availability of SentryGlas® and SentryGlas Xtra®1.52mm/60 mil rolls.

These rolls offer significant advantages that will enhance both productivity and product quality for our customers:

  • Exceptional Flatness: The flatness of our SentryGlas® rolls ensures improved productivity of your manufacturing process.
  • Eliminates the Need for Multi-layer Ply: By using a single 1.52mm roll, the risk of contamination is reduced, and the need to ply multiple layers is eliminated.  This simplifies the lamination process and increases efficiency.
  • Easier Handling: Compared to using two layers of 0.76 mm , the 1.52 mm rolls are easier to handle, making layup faster and more manageable.
  • Convenient Roll Form: The roll format makes storage and handling much easier than dealing with sheets, further streamlining the production process.
  • Improved De-airing & Edge Cutting: These rolls offer superior de-airing and cleaner edge cutting both before and after lamination, leading to better overall results.
  • Enhanced Optics: Using a single 1.52mm roll improves optics by reducing interfaces and the risk of contamination compared to two plies of 0.76mm.
  • Online Ordering: To make things even more convenient for you, our online ordering system is ready to go for these new rolls.
