KCC Corporation (the largest manufacturer of building materials and chemical products in South Korea) confirms plans to build a glass factory in the Russian Far East, said Kim Song Won's corporation director in Seoul on Korean Investor Day.

At the first stage of the project implementation it is planned to produce flat glass in the amount of 800 thousand tons per year.

At the second stage of the project, it is planned to produce mineral wool and fiberglass, the press service of the presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District quotes the head of KCC Corporation.

Earlier it was reported that the volume of investment in the project is estimated at $ 250 million.

Production facilities of KCC Corporation are located in 12 countries, including South Korea, China and Singapore.
