EVERLAM is pleased to announce that EVERLAM™ SUPER TOUGH was officially certified by the Belgium Scientific and Technical Center for the Construction Industry.

EVERLAM is pleased to announce that EVERLAM™ SUPER TOUGH was officially certified by the Belgium Scientific and Technical Center for the Construction Industry (WTCB) according to NBN B 03-004:2017 for use in balustrade applications in residential and office buildings as well as sports stadiums.

EVERLAM™ SUPER TOUGH is a PVB interlayer that presents higher shear modulus than a standard PVB film. It improves the mechanical properties of laminated glass so that thinner glass can be used to reduce the weight and cost of an entire glass structure.

Marc Slock, Technology & Business Development Director at EVERLAM, commented: “The WTCB certification confirms that EVERLAM™ SUPER TOUGH is a high performance quality product that fulfils a growing market need for PVB interlayers with increased modulus in a range of applications also including balconies, canopies, curtain walls / facades  and sloped or overhead glazing. The market response on the certification has been very positive and we are looking forward to actively contributing to the growth of the market segment of laminated glass for structural applications.”
