Francesca 1250 HO one of the main difference makers on display at glasstec (Hall 16, Stand D40) and available now.

In the never-ending goal to reach peak efficiencies in your glass fabrication plant, IGE Glass Technologies and Forvet have always been the go to option.  Now with the growth in all glass entrances and shower enclosures, machinery like the Francesca 1250 HO takes center stage in showing its incredible productivity per square foot inside the glass fab facility.

The 1250 has many key attributes and if you are comparing vs. a traditional vertical approach the advantages of the Forvet and IGE option are clear.

  • Able to see fabrication work in progress
  • Dramatically faster cycle times
  • Fewer moving parts – dramatically higher production
  • Easy software... simple to use
  • Less square footage of valuable facility space!

The 1250 HO is capable of performing drilling, countersinking and milling operations on flat glass sheets, ranging in thickness from 3 to 25 mm. including “out of square” pieces.  The useful working field for width is 1250 mm. and without limits for length. Additionally, there is no inter-axis restriction between holes locations.

The drilling operation is capable of drilling a maximum diameter of 70 mm with larger diameters achieved by the milling feature.

The working cycle is completely automatic, without any manual intervention. The 1250 HO optimizes the approaching speed of the heads, controls the glass transport feed, drilling speed and water quantity and adjusts the drill height to compensate for its wear. The operator is required only to provide the hole diameter and its coordinates.

Forvet is a name respected all around the world for their innovative, purpose-built glass fabrication equipment. Forvet’s highly specialized machines are designed to solve some of the unique problems facing today’s glass fabricators, including rapid and precise drilling and milling.
