Press Glass received certification from the Institute of Ceramics and Construction Materials for its bullet-proof glazing units.

The quality of bullet-proof glazed units manufactured by PRESS GLASS has been confirmed with the certificate issued by the Institute of Ceramics and Construction Materials (ICiMB).

The certificate is a formal proof that panes produced by this manufacturer meet all the requirements included in EN 1279-5:2005+A2:2010.

"Bullet-proof glass provides effective protection against gunshots. They are a staple wherever security is the top priority. Such glass is assessed using such criteria as the bullet-proof glass class, its weight, thickness and translucency. Individual bullet-proof glass may be combined in packages. Thanks to combination of individual bullet-proof glass, glazed partitions obtain additional benefits, such as reduced heat transfer" explains PRESS GLASS.

The manufacturer is among the companies confirming the possibility of combining bullet-proof glass. ICiMB, state-run R&D and implementing body, operating in Poland for over 60 years now, has issued relevant certificate for bullet-proof glazed units manufactured by PRESS GLASS.

As per company's explanations, the certificate of constancy of performance evidences formally that bullet-proof glazed units manufactured by the company meet all the requirements included in EN 1279-5:2005+A2:2010.

The document is applicable to glazed units in following classes: BR2”S”, BR3”S”, BR3”NS”, BR4”S”, BR4”NS”, BR5”S”, BR6”S”, BR7”S” and BR7”NS”.
