This striking centerpiece represents more than just design innovation; it embodies the precision, creativity, and technical excellence that define both A+W Software and its long-time partner, Kensington Glass Arts.
A Partnership Built on Craftsmanship and Trust
Kensington Glass Arts has been part of the A+W family since 2008. Renowned for its ability to deliver complex architectural glass projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic, the company consistently demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship and precision in both interior and façade applications.
When A+W approached Jim Rathbone and Ryan Heilman at Kensington Glass Arts with the challenge of transforming the A+W logo into a trade show-ready glass table, the team embraced the opportunity.
“We were pleased to be selected by A+W to work on this table, considering the numerous clients A+W serves across the glass industry,” said the Kensington team. “We’ve enjoyed our collaboration and the many ways A+W has helped enhance our capabilities over the years — and we look forward to continuing this partnership well into the future.”

From Concept to CAD
The concept was bold: turn the A+W logo into a functional, stable, and visually stunning glass table. Using A+W Business and A+W Production, Kensington’s team meticulously planned every detail — from the tabletop geometry to the leg configuration and backing.
While the finished product appears seamless, the project required precise digital planning and countless small adjustments to ensure the table was both beautiful and structurally sound — ready to meet the rigors of a busy trade show floor.
The Fabrication Process
Transforming the digital design into a real-world centerpiece required a blend of advanced technology and expert craftsmanship:
- Cutting: The glass was cut to exact dimensions using a Bystronic cutting table.
- CNC Shaping: An Intermac CNC machine refined intricate edges for perfect alignment.
- Polishing: A Schiattii Straight Line Flat Edge Polisher gave the glass its clarity and brilliance.
- Tempering: The pieces were tempered in a Glaston oven to enhance strength and durability.
- Backpainting: To emphasize the A+W identity, Classic Glass & Stone etched, masked, and sprayed the glass in the company’s signature blue, accented with crisp white detailing.
- Metal Backing: Chillum Sheet Metal provided precision metalwork to reinforce the table’s unique form.
- Assembly: The glass and metal components were aligned and assembled with engineered stability in mind — particularly in the leg design, which ensures balance and safety.
The result is a stunning showpiece that reflects the same attributes A+W Software builds into its products: clarity, strength, and precision.
More Than a Table — A Symbol of Innovation
The A+W logo table is more than a design feature; it symbolizes the power of collaboration between software and craftsmanship. Every stage of its creation — from CAD modeling to final polish — illustrates how digital precision and hands-on expertise can come together to produce something extraordinary.
See It at GlassBuild America 2025
The A+W logo table will debut at GlassBuild America 2025, held November 4–6 in Orlando, Florida. Visitors are invited to visit the A+W booth to experience the craftsmanship firsthand and see how innovation takes shape — quite literally — in glass.
This project stands as a celebration of partnership, precision, and creativity — a reminder that when technology and artistry meet, the results can be both functional and inspiring.
For A+W Software and Kensington Glass Arts, it’s not just a table.
It’s a symbol of innovation, collaboration, and pride in craftsmanship — and it’s ready to make its mark in Orlando.
