Şişecam Group joined Global Sustainability League

The Group now is among the first 100 in “Best Emerging Markets Performers” rating according to the Viego Eiris Sustainability Index 2018 Assessment in which 855 companies in 35 sectors in 31 countries participated.

Şişecam Group, a global player in all the main areas of glass such as flat glass, glassware, glass packaging and glass fiber and soda and chromium components, was included in “Best Emerging Markets Performers” list containing 100 companies from all over the world.

The list is within the scope of the Viego Eiris Sustainability Index 2018 Assessment in which 855 companies from 35 sectors in 31 countries were included.

The companies are assessed within the frame of the works they carry out in the fields of human rights, decent employment practices, environmental protection, corporate governance, business ethics and social and economic development in areas where they operate.
