Factory Acceptance Test with Gulf Glass Manufacturing from Kuwait

The Factory Acceptance Test is an important quality assurance step in which equipment and control systems are inspected and tested at the manufacturer's facilities before delivery to the customer.

During the three-day visit, all equipment was presented, demonstrated and tested. In addition, a simulation of the control system provided detailed insights into its architecture and functionality.

The FAT also included a comprehensive review of the overall project scope, system structure and technical design. Particular attention was given to the technical implementation of the furnace, including utilities, electrical systems and functional safety.

The visit provided an opportunity for both teams to review the technical solutions together, discuss key aspects of the project and align on the technical requirements.
