As part of its extensive product portfolio, Şişecam presented solutions tailored to the diverse needs of manufacturers and brands at the fair.
Building on its ongoing lightweighting initiatives, including the development of a 110-gram ultra-lightweight mineral water bottle, Şişecam has further expanded its portfolio with 300-gram and 400-gram bottles. Designed to meet the diverse needs of the beverage industry, the bottles are available in two different formats. The 300-gram bottle combines a classic bottle shape with an ultra-lightweight design, offering a capacity of 750 cc and a height of 292 mm. It also stands out as the tallest bottle in its weight category. The 400-gram bottle, with a capacity of 1,000 cc and a height of 302.6 mm, offers an alternative to meet different packaging requirements.
Yılmaz Erceyes, Şişecam’s Chief Marketing Officer, said: “With our ultra-lightweight bottles, we develop innovative glass packaging solutions that combine sustainability, high performance, and logistics and operational efficiency. Our 300-gram bottle exemplifies this approach, standing as the tallest bottle in its weight category. In addition to reliable supply and global reach, we offer smarter manufacturing, greater flexibility, and faster delivery solutions. Thanks to our next-generation facility in Kaposvár and our projects with global brands, we can respond to our customers’ needs more quickly and effectively. With more than 90 years of glassmaking expertise, 10 facilities across four countries, an annual glass packaging production capacity of 3.2 million tons, and a network serving 530 global brands across six continents, we are shaping the future of glass packaging.”
Lightweighting helps optimize resource use throughout glass packaging production and logistics processes while enabling the development of solutions that meet brands’ evolving needs. Offering an extensive glass packaging portfolio in nine different color options, Şişecam continues to develop solutions that bring together sustainability, performance, and operational efficiency.
