Rohmer & Stimpfig: Pre-Processing Open House 2005

Date: 31 August 2005

You are encouraged to join Rohmer & Stimpfig Pre-Processing Open House 2005. From September 21 to 23, 2005, you can get your own and personal impression on Rohmer & Stimpfig Performance, Technologies and latest developments.

Within these days you can see the following pre-processing machines and lines:

RS 12.01 WSL-TP
• Fully automatic pre-processing, here for side and back lites
• Max. 1800 x 1250 mm, min. 500 x 300 mm
• Thickness 1,8 – 6 mm
• With automatic loading and drilling machine
• Cycling time 16 – 26 sec.
• Loading, cutting, breaking, and drilling in different sections, guaranteeing an utmost in efficiency
and flexibility
• Separate cutting and breaking bridge (each CNC controlled)
• Breaking without templates
• Grinding machines with two grinding tables
• Optional with multi-channel-cooling system

This unique and universal line is used in the car and vehicle, appliances and architectural industry. Depending on the execution you easily can process different glass thicknesses, one after the other, without any changes in the line itself. In connection to the multi-channel-cooling system using different grinding tools on just one spindle (e.g. dia 150 and dia 60 mm for different radii) new prospects are coming up to the world market. Using this new Technology lots of the special glass shapes are not any longer to be processed in different methods.

RS 12.01 SSL–TP
• Semi-automatic pre-processing
• Max. 1250 x 900, min. 250 x 250 mm
• Thickness 1,8 – 6 mm
• Cycling time 14 – 22 sec.
• Manual loading, CNC cutting and breaking in individual and different stations, guaranteeing an utmost in efficiency and flexibility
• Separate cutting and breaking bridge (each CNC controlled)
• Breaking without templates

This line is used in the car and vehicle, appliances and architectural industry, too. Wherever manual breaking is too costly and too slow, wherever you are looking for a more flexible set-up and less handling of the glass, this universal line is the right solution.

RS 8.14 L – CNC-controlled edging machine for shaped glass
• Well proven twin spindler for simultaneous processing (grinding) of two glasses at the same time
• Max. 2300 x 1300, min. 200 x 200 mm
• Thickness 1,8 – 19 mm
• 8-fold-loading on smaller glasses, outside the wet area
• Multi-Channel-Cooling system for the use of different grinding tool diameter in one package
• Service stations for both grinding spindles outside the machine
RS 89.05 L – CNC-controlled edging machine for shaped glass
• Well proven single spindler with two grinding tables
• Max. 1000 x 1300 (using two tables), min. 200 x 200
• Thickness 1,8 – 19 mm
• Multi-Channel-Cooling system for the use of different grinding tool diameter in one package
• Service station for the grinding spindle outside the machine

Do not miss this chance and ask for your personal date at R + S. For fixing a date please contact Rohmer & Stimpfig latest by September 9, 2005. If it would not be possible for you to come during the Open House, Rohmer & Stimpfig shall certainly find another later date where you can see all machines, except for the WSL-TP (it has to be shipped after the Open House to China). Then it also might be possible to have a demonstration with your glass and your shape.
