At 2,300m, Motta Hütte merges alpine tradition with modern design, featuring an open timber structure and high-performance glass for stunning views and top thermal efficiency.

At an altitude of over 2,300 meters, the Motta Hütte in Lenzerheide pays homage to the classic alpine building style while introducing a contemporary interpretation of form and function. A defining feature is the open timber structure, which serves as both a load-bearing element and a striking architectural statement, creating a perfect transition between interior and exterior.

Large arched windows and a glass façade allow breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps while ensuring excellent thermal performance. This is made possible by a high-performance triple insulating glass that enhances both energy efficiency and aesthetics. In combination with a SILVERSTAR COMBI Grey 60 t and a SILVERSTAR EN2plus coating, it provides outstanding thermal insulation – essential for a building exposed to the harsh winter conditions of the Alps.
