In a recent contract with Mid Devon Glass, the Glass Machinery Company installed a modern sandblaster from the Fratelli Pezza range, to further streamline production methods for the glass processing manufacturer.

This is the second investment by the Tiverton based company in products from The Glass Machinery Company and it complements the existing glass processing capabilities at Mid Devon Glass, which has further improved customer services generally.

The new installation includes a Mistral EV fully automatic sandblaster to help further improve quality standards.  Fratelli Pezza as a company prides itself on always being at the forefront of technology and design innovation, having held a market leading position for over 40 years.

As with all Fratelli Pezza equipment the systems are covered by patents, which guarantee and protect the production quality. This remains consistent with the company’s philosophy of providing only the highest manufacturing standards.

Product quality and excellent support services from The Glass Machinery Company have impressed Managing Director, Kevin Squibb who once again was pleased with the equipment and after care services provided by Phil Birchall and his team.

Mid Devon Glass was established over 20 years ago supplying sealed units to both the commercial and domestic sectors in and around the South West region.  Careful product research went into the machinery investment to ensure it would meet the production demands of the company, which has established a reputation for quality and reliability across Devon and the South West.

The new sandblaster was installed without disruption to production with on-site training also completed quickly and efficiently.

Kevin Squibb ensures production standards are of the highest standards to authenticate product guarantees. He considers The Glass Machinery Company portfolio offers excellent quality and is extremely competitively priced.

Kevin comments: “As our range continues to diversify, we considered it necessary to adapt production methods accordingly by further automating our facilities to ensure we meet our customers’ high demands.

The company has received excellent service from The Glass Machinery Company team which has provided the right solution and it meets our needs perfectly.”

Phil Birchall, Managing Director at The Glass Machinery Company comments, “Over the last couple of years we have reinforced our position as a machinery supplier and it is reassuring to now see that we are recognized as a major player and supplier across the UK for leading glass processing companies.”
