Glaston has closed a significant deal from North America for a Glaston FC Series™ flat glass tempering line.

The order has been entered in Glaston’s Q3/2017 order book. The line is due to be delivered to the customer at the end of 2017.

For the customer, continuous investment in the latest technology is a prerequisite when executing complex and demanding glass solutions.

The customer, which is expanding its product offering, was seeking a solution that combined high capacity and the tempering of demanding low emissivity glass.

The advantage of this coated insulating glass is good thermal radiation reflectance properties, whereby thermal radiation is to a large extent reflected back into the space of the heat source.

“The Glaston FC Series™ double-chamber technology production line provides almost double the capacity compared to a standard single-chamber solution and meets all the requirements for demanding low emissivity glass tempering. The FC Series™ is well known for its energy efficiency, built-in process intelligence and ease of use, and above all for the premium tempered glass quality,” says Arto Metsänen, President & CEO, Glaston Corporation.
