Viridian has acquired the distribution assets and the majority of the remaining inventory of Oceania Glass.

This strategic acquisition strengthens our long-term position in the Australian glass market and ensures the ongoing supply of bulk float glass to support our processing operations.

In a rapidly evolving industry, this move also brings new opportunities to better serve our customers:

  • Enhanced Supply Capability – Greater consistency and reliability through increased inventory access and improved control of inbound supply.
  • Expanded Merchandising Offering – A broader product range available through a strengthened distribution footprint.
  • Strategic Infrastructure – Increased delivery flexibility and service reach through additional distribution capacity.

Our purpose remains unchanged: to be the trusted glass partner to our customers. We achieve this by:

  • Maintaining an obsessive customer focus – all our people, all the time.
  • Consistently meeting customer expectations.
  • Operating with the largest footprint and breadth of production capability in the market.
  • Delivering industry-leading expertise and support in everything we do.

As part of this change, merchandising product will be supplied through a newly formed merchandising business in Sydney and Melbourne, complementing our existing branch network. Merchandising supply will be available in full packs only. A price list will be issued shortly, and we will work to ensure glass is available to support demand.

We’re excited to embark on this next chapter with our valued customers and partners.
