Glaston Technologies' Tamglass again presents new and major flat tempering innovation at the top industry event of the year, Glasstec 2006.

The high-speed Sonic full convection tempering furnace, launched

in 2005, is now followed by a new model providing "Easier than ever"

tempering of Super Low-E glass.



In addition to offering world-record performance and processing speed at

the highest quality, the latest Sonic reduces processing time, maximizes

quality and minimizes breakage rates. This is based on profiled full

convection technology, patented by Tamglass, and machine vision based

automatic process control, Tamglass APC.



Excellent processing speed, especially for Super Low-E, is guaranteed

with the patented profiled full convection heating system that

circulates hot air in the process. The Convection Booster units are

located outside of the furnace, where the lifetime of the components

is maximum and maintenance is easy and fast to provide high uptime.
