Vetroseal, a leading independent sealed unit supplier, has recently installed a Bystronic glass 2.3 x 3.5 m IG line as part of an investment programme that will support the company’s business plans moving forward.

The Vetroseal journey has been one of excitement, change and steady growth, as quality products, reliability and loyal customers have enabled the company to create a strong market position. Technical investment in Bystronic glass machinery as well as HEGLA cutting systems over the last 12 months has streamlined production and resulted in a more efficient business all round.

For Eric Falisi, Managing Director, the strategy has been to invest in the best machinery money can buy. He comments, “The Bystronic technology is second to none with outstanding quality guaranteed. Other brands don’t come close and this has been reinforced by the exceptional standards we can now achieve in production. ”

After having made a number of investments in HEGLA cutting equipment and an initial Bystronic IG line in 2014, Vetroseal became highly efficient making it easier to support customers’ needs moving forward. Becoming more automated gave the company greater business scope as quality improved and product diversification became possible. The company has gone from strength to strength, adding an adjoining premises to cope with expansion.

A brand new larger toughening plant together with more investment in a HEGLA auto loading and cutting table equipped with laser marking technology, has reinforced Vetroseal’s reputation as a reliable supplier of quality sealed units.

Eric continues, “In a market that constantly fluctuates we want to ensure that customers can feel reassured . Currently we now run 2 sealed unit lines which allows us to manufacture in excess of 7000 domestic sealed units per week. Today, people invest is guaranteed quality and for me that can only come with HEGLA and Bystronic glass equipment.”

Thanks to the investment in Bystronic glass technology, the company has the capacity to diversify its range and it gives greater scope for light commercial projects, which Eric Falisi believes can only be achieved with the right machinery installed.

The Bystronic glass system was installed in March and it has already improved quality and efficiency. The whole factory has become more efficient with overtime now not needed.

Eric Falisi concludes: “This has been a year of investment to reinforce our solid market position and our commitment to customers to provide only the best.”

Steve Goble, Managing Director, HEGLA UK comments, “Vetroseal is a fine example of how a company can develop. It has gone from a very manual production floor to a highly automated facility that can produce a very broad range of products for both domestic and commercial projects.
