Guardian Plus reaches new heights before Christmas

Over the past few months since the, programmes launch, we have already made a number of updates and improvements to the programme. We have added 70 new acoustic performance certificates to the acoustic table, which now offers nearly 400 assessments, and includes an increasing range of triple glazed configurations. The acoustic table has proven to be a key feature for members of Guardian Plus. Eddie Howel from Quickseal emailed us just hours after joining the programme to say “Your Guardian plus is working perfectly, today we have already had three acoustic enquiries, which I would normally have had trouble identifying products for and one needed certification, which would definitely have been a problem. All of which I managed to answer while on the phone to the customers using the Guardian Plus access”.

We have also improved the Technical Centre with 26 new technical advisory notes, covering a host of subjects from REACH certification to the risk of thermal breakage during construction and overhead glass canopies in building. As the technical centre grows, so does the ability of Guardian Plus members to satisfy even the most unusual of enquiries.

Our Stock Offers page for direct customers has also proven to be a real success, as many customers have been utilising some of the more obscure sizes and pack quantities available, helping them to optimise yields on different projects and one off jobs. There have been many other updates to the website, including 14 new projects presenting Guardian Coated and laminated glass in situ. New products added include Inspiration Anti Glare Glass, which is now available in the UK. The Building Regulation page has also been updated, detailing in a very simple format what exactly is required to achieve current Building Regulation Document L compliance.
