The new FG-5000 Hurricane Impact System from Vistawall Architectural Products has been engineered to withstand the fury of mother nature, while maintaining the ease of installation found in conventional store front systems.

FG-5000 is a 2 1/2 ” x 5”, single-glazed store front system tested with water-resistant entrance doors to fully comply with the stringent requirements of Miami/Dade County Protocol 201, 202, 203 and Southern Building Code Congress International (SBCCI).

Vistawall has taken hurricane-resistant products to the next level by developing a system that can be fully assembled and glazed in the shop or in the field, prior to anchor inspection, ensuring faster installation.

The FG-5000 was tested with 84” x 96”

Vistawall water-resistant entrances. The entrances are available as a single or pair and the hardware includes stainless steel NRP ball-bearing butt hinges, Adams Rite three-point hook-bolt lock, Vistawall standard push/pull (PH-10/PB-11) metal tip-flush bolts on an inactive leaf.

FG-5000 utilizes screw spline assembly, it fabricated with EZ Punch TM hydraulic punch can be pre-assembled and pre-glazed. With FG-5000 there is no mullion or jamb anchoring required, and the steel reinforcing is anchored at only the head and sill. FG-5000 is another example of the Vistawall commitment to manufacture superior products that meet and exceed the challenges of today’s demanding market place.
