Şişecam Flat Glass Came Together with the European Architects in Greece

Şişecam Flat Glass came together with the European architects and engineers at Share Athens 2019 through participation as an event partner.

The architectural conference Share Athens 2019 took place in Athens, hosting Şişecam Flat Glass that operates under Şisecam Group, a global player in the glass industry, as an event partner.

Şişecam Flat Glass has been serving the glass industry across the Greek market for over 30 years, and holds more than %50 market share in the country with its broad range of products, particularly including flat glass, mirror, laminated glass, and temperable coated glass. The company participated in Share Athens 2019, the latest event of Share International Architecture and Engineering Forum, which hosted nearly 3,000 European architects from 12 countries. Prominent architects of Europe attended the event as speakers, and shared their innovative projects and architectural approaches with the audience.

At the conference, '"New Technologies in Façade Design" presentation covering the sustainability approach of Şişecam Flat Glass, the recently-introduced coated products and reference projects was delivered to nearly 300 representatives from the industry including architects, façade advisors and students. The innovative products of Şişecam Flat Glass sparked a huge enthusiasm among  the attendants, including well known architects and engineers who were awarded for the glass aspect of their architectural projects.

While the Spanish architect Francisco Mangado, Australian architect Dietmar Eberle, and Greek architect Vasilis Sgoutas attended the event alongside the internationally-renown architectural offices Zaha Hadid Architects and MVRDV, Melike Altınışık from Turkey delivered a presentation on Istanbul Radio and TV Tower project that was realized thanks to Şişecam Flat Glass products.
