At Glasstec 2026 (Düsseldorf, 20–23 October, Hall 16, Stand 16A14), Schiatti Angelo brings two releases that show what its Tailored Technology approach delivers on these fronts.
TFV1600 — Vertical drilling and milling machine
For operators losing hours a week to tool changes, the TFV1600 cuts that time by 50% compared to the previous generation.
The automatic tool changer with integrated sharpener runs uninterrupted; the closed-bridge structure holds precision across the full 3–19 mm range, laminated glass included.
Fewer stops, cleaner holes, less rework.
SME10 — Variable angle straight grinding machine
Vulcanized-rubber pad transport on tempered steel guides reduces friction by 80% versus traditional sliding systems, removing vibration from the equation and stabilising edge quality across long runs. The 0°–45° angle is managed via touch-screen PLC.
Predictive diagnostics halve routine maintenance. Cerium oxide polishing on flat edge and arris. Full cycle on 17.7 kW with closed-circuit water cooling — energy and consumables under control.
Two machines, two different jobs, one engineering logic: electronics and controls do their part, but the long-term result sits in the mechanical platform.
A frame that stays true, wear surfaces that don't drift out of tolerance, a maintenance curve that stays flat rather than climb after the warranty runs out. That is what a fifteen-year investment horizon looks like, and what Tailored Technology means in practice.
Visitors can see both machines in operation at Glasstec 2026 (Düsseldorf, 20–23 October), Hall 16, Stand 16A14.
