Newly Established Fabricator, Precision Glass Industries (PGI), Adds Automated FuseCube™ Coating Machine to Their Production Line.

Diamon-Fusion International announced today that newly established glass fabricator, Precision Glass Industries, has chosen DFI’s fully-automated hydrophobic coating machine, the FuseCube™, for their shower door and commercial coating needs.

The company went with DFI’s Flex 75 series, which will enable PGI to apply the patented Diamon-Fusion® coating on both sides of their shower doors, in the most efficient, cost-effective manner.

“The backbone of our company is focused on overall quality, on-time delivery and shortened lead times. When we learned of the FuseCube’s many capabilities, the decision was easy. Not only are we able to promise our customers a consistent, superior coating on both sides of the glass every time, but we are able to do it without compromising on delivery.” – Kevin Waller of Precision Glass Industries.

Of the company’s recent purchase, Manny Borda, Executive Vice President of IGE Technologies had this to add, “PGI is making some big moves. Opportunities in the glass industry have never been so abundant and they are strategically readying themselves (from start to finish) to meet those demands. DFI’s FuseCube is a huge move in the right direction and we are thrilled to have partnered with them through the whole process.”

In addition to providing PGI better overall quality and shortened lead times, the FuseCube will also allow the company to significantly reduce handling and waste, and labor, so assets can be used elsewhere within the business. The Houston-based fabricator will house the new machine, along with their other automated glass machinery, in a 56,875 sq. ft. facility, with the ability of expanding to 79,375 sq. ft.

“We thank Kevin and his team for partnering with DFI. As excited as we are, our job here is just starting. Their success is our new initiative and we plan on helping them get there.” – Syndi Sim, Director of Marketing, Diamon-Fusion International, Inc.
