Glaston sells FC500™ tempering line to Kuwait

Glaston has closed a deal worth EUR 2.6 million with Amjad Scientific located in Kuwait. The deal includes the Glaston FC500™ tempering line and the ProL™ laminating line as well as pre-processing machines.  The machines will be delivered to the customer during the last quarter of 2015.

The order is booked in Glaston’s Q2/2015 order book.

As Amjad Scientific is expanding their operations to glass processing with focus on the architectural segment Glaston’s FC500™ and ProL™ products, both well-known for high capacity, energy efficiency and easy of use as well as premium quality of the end products, respond well to the customer’s requirements.

Amjad Scientific is a new customer to Glaston and also new in the glass processing business. “We are delighted to deliver the glass processing equipment to Amjad Scientific, who is targeting the position as forerunner in the glass business in Kuwait”, Pekka Hytti, SVP, EMEA of Glaston Corporation says.
