CRL Opens in Italy

CRL announces the establishment of their latest branch in Italy commencing operation on the 1st October 2010, with the new branch only 10 minutes drive from the RHO Milan Fairgrounds.

Headed up by Sales Manager, Maurizio Dodi, C.R. Laurence of Europe s.r.l. is located in Cornaredo, northwest of Milan, and will serve the important Italian market directly with a growing range of CRL’s 50,000 plus products. “The establishment of our organization in Italy follows our stated strategy to bring the availability of our wide range of distributed and manufactured products closer across Europe, and represents another significant step in this development,” commented Lloyd Talbert, President of C.R. Laurence Co., Inc.

The Italian company now becomes the companies’ 30th location globally, and is strategically placed to serve the industrial heartland of the glass industry in this region. Simon Boocock, Managing Director of C.R. Laurence of Europe, added “Our development continues to follow our three point approach: acquisition of logistical infrastructure to develop regional presence; acquisition and development of manufacturing brands, products and capabilities; and green-field site establishments where applicable – all focused to bringing greater availability and choice to our customers throughout Europe."

C.R. Laurence Co., Inc. is based in Los Angeles, California, USA and recently opened its purpose built 7000 m2 (75,000 sq ft) European Headquarters near Manchester, England, and already serves the glazing, architectural, construction, and automotive industries across three continents.
