The glass manufacturing company is in discussion between liquidation and sale.

Cricursa, a curved glass manufacturer based in Barcelona, Spain, is facing an uncertain future.

Now, there is the risk of going into liquidation due to the debt estimated at around 60 million euros after two difficult years due to the fall in activity during the pandemic.

The company has been in bankruptcy since December and the bankruptcy threatens the jobs of 330 workers.

In recent days there has been an option to buy the factories and save them from closure. According to the Segre newspaper, a Spanish company has shown interest in acquiring Cricursa and re-floating it.

Cricursa, founded in Barcelona in 1928, is a family company dedicated to the manufacture of curved glass, flat glass and special architectural glass. CRICURSA is widely represented in all continents, although it has a greater presence in nearby markets such as Western Europe and the United States. Its main clients are architects, engineers, façade designers and consultants who are dedicated to singular works.
