Dedicated sector focus remains as FIT Show builds towards its 2027 event, with access to wider marketing reach, built environment expertise and additional team support.

FIT Show, the UK’s dedicated trade event for the window, door and glazing industry, has joined Nineteen Group following its acquisition from Montgomery Group, bringing new backing and wider industry connections to the event ahead of its return to the NEC Birmingham from 18-20 May 2027.

The move brings FIT Show into a portfolio of established built environment events including InstallerSHOW, Professional Woodworking Expo and PlantWorx. It creates opportunities to build on the show’s established audience and industry relationships, drawing on Nineteen’s wider marketing reach, sector knowledge and resources.

FIT Show will retain its established brand, identity and dedicated sector focus, with the 2027 event taking place as planned. Members of the existing team will remain with the show, bringing their knowledge of its exhibitors, visitors and partners into the new ownership.

Commenting on the announcement, FIT Show event director Nickie West said: “This is an exciting step for FIT Show and the industry we serve. We’re joining a group that understands the built environment and the value of bringing specialist communities together, with the resources and expertise to help us build on what we already do well.

“For our exhibitors, this is about opportunity. We want to help more of the right people discover their products, meet their teams and do business with them. Nineteen’s wider marketing reach and knowledge of the construction sector give us more scope to connect with relevant new audiences, alongside the fabricators and installers at the heart of FIT Show.

“Just as importantly, it gives our team additional support to build on the relationships, sector knowledge and work already going into the 2027 event.

“The message to our community is simple: FIT Show remains FIT Show. Our identity, our dedicated focus and our commitment to this industry remain. We’re building on those foundations, not moving away from them.”

FIT Show attracts 10,000 visitors and more than 200 brands, bringing together businesses from across the entire window, door and glazing industry supply chain. Its audience includes fabricators, installers, manufacturers, suppliers, architects, specifiers, builders and developers.

The event gives exhibitors the opportunity to demonstrate products and machinery in action, introduce new solutions, reconnect with customers and build relationships with prospective buyers. For visitors, it provides a dedicated setting to compare products, meet the people behind them and explore opportunities for their businesses.

Joining Nineteen Group creates scope to extend that reach into relevant areas of the wider built environment, supporting FIT Show’s existing focus on connecting its core community with new customers, products and markets.

Michael Costain, Managing Director, Nineteen Group, said: “FIT Show has earned a loyal following across the windows, doors and glazing industry, and we're proud to welcome it into Nineteen Group. It complements our existing events naturally, connecting the people who make, supply and install windows and doors with the wider construction and interiors community we already serve. Our focus is on working with the team, exhibitors and partners to make sure FIT Show keeps delivering for the fabricators, installers, manufacturers and specifiers who rely on it.”

With less than seven months until FIT Show 2027, preparations continue, with the team working with exhibitors and partners to develop their participation and build the event’s line-up.

Nickie added: “Our focus is firmly on May and helping the businesses taking part make the most of FIT Show. Whether you’re launching a product, demonstrating machinery or looking to get in front of new customers, we want to hear about your plans.

“There is real value in getting your products and your people in front of the market. We’re looking forward to working with Nineteen, our exhibitors and our partners to build on that opportunity for 2027 and beyond.”

FIT Show 2027 takes place at the NEC Birmingham from 18-20 May. To explore the exhibitor line-up, view the floorplan or enquire about exhibiting, visit www.fitshow.co.uk.
