Shortly after participating at the GPD in Shanghai, Bekaert has now also been invited as a guest speaker at the Glass Processing Days convention, taking place from 15-18 June in Tampere, Finland.

Customers will discover the benefits of Bekaert rotatable sputter solutions for architectural & automotive glass on booth 34b.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, GPD is an independent forum dedicated to developing the global flat glass industry. It is the world's most reputed and best attended architectural glass conference offering workshops as well as product demonstrations. This year special attention will be paid to energy saving and to practical case studies regarding processes and product innovations.

On Monday 18 June, Bekaert will present its “Flexible and performing upgrades of vacuum coaters” and Bart Verlinden, Technology Manager at Bekaert, will also chair the session “Challenges of the coating process”.

Bekaert sputter hardware components provide customers with flexible and performing upgrades of their vacuum coaters. All components needed for sustaining a controlled process and optimizing productivity are included, such as appropriate magnetron mechanics, adjustable magnet systems, gas distribution and pumping systems, fast responding high power electronics, dual sided coating modules, custom designed integration and automation. Bekaert is recognized as the market leader in rotatable magnetron technology, integrated in coaters worldwide.
