TUROMAS’ representation at VITRUM 2025 was led by:

  • Álvaro Tomás, Chief Executive Officer of TUROMAS
  • Álvaro Doñate, Area Manager for Spain and Portugal.
  • Oriol Llorens, Area Manager for Europe.
  • Teresa Catalán, Head of Marketing.
  • Eduardo, Area Manager for the Chilean branch.
  • Santiago Blasco, Area Manager for Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

In Milan, TUROMAS continued the presentation of the LAM 600, which was unveiled for the first time during the company’s 40th anniversary celebrations on 12 September at its facilities in Rubielos de Mora (Teruel). This is a high-production cutting line for laminated glass, aimed at companies seeking maximum automation, versatility and quality in thicknesses from 2+2 to 12+12.

With a useful cut of 6,000 mm, the LAM 600 integrates the new TUROMAS cutting and separation system, which reduces the cycle of each cut by 10 seconds and allows working with slightly heated butyral, optimising the quality of the final result. In addition, the measuring carriage together with the MCC belt loading table automate the loading, positioning, cutting and evacuation of laminated glass in a single line.

The solution also incorporates an advanced positioning system for straight and balustrade cuts in laminated glass, using mechanical stops that allow for quick adjustment without complex configurations, reducing setup times and avoiding unnecessary downtime.

4tool: cutting precision from 0.55 mm

Another highlight at VITRUM was the 4tool technology, developed and patented by TUROMAS in 2008. This pioneering tool integrates four automatic cutting systems, each with its own roller, lubrication and optimised pressure cylinder, allowing perfect cutting of any glass thickness without the need for manual changes.

The first tool is specifically designed for cutting glass from 0.55 mm to 2 mm thick, a capability that TUROMAS has offered for over 15 years and which sets it apart in the market. Since 2008, TUROMAS has been guaranteeing reliable, precise and flawless cutting of glass with a minimum thickness of 0.55 mm, establishing itself as a technological leader in this field.

The remaining tools cover the most common thicknesses, from 2 mm to 12 mm, and thick glass up to 25 mm, using a larger diameter roller.
