Scm Group has won the “Best Managed Companies” Award

Various criteria were taken into consideration by the Awarding jury and regard the capacity to stand out from the crowd in matters of strategy, commitment and corporate culture, skills and innovation, governance and performance, internationalisation and sustainability.

An acknowledgement that becomes even more significant when considering the period in question, 2020, as we all know, marked by a general downturn in economic activity and turnover for Italian businesses due to the pandemic.

The Awards ceremony was held on 27 September at Palazzo Mezzanotte, in Milan. The Award was picked up on behalf of Scm Group by the Group's Communication Director, Gian Luca Fariselli.

This Award is yet further confirmation of Scm Group's long term, strategic vision that distinguishes it from others, and proved even more significant during the period affected by the health emergency. The Group has continued to invest in technological innovation and markets, and saw the challenges and difficulties arising from the international pandemic context as an opportunity to accelerate the R&D processes, digital transformation and strengthen branches around the globe.

Overall, 74 companies were awarded the prestigious prize. The “Best Managed Companies” are spread across the entire country and, including Scm Group, 12 of them have their headquarters in Emilia-Romagna.

The winning companies were nominated by an independent jury made up of experts from the Italian institutional and academic world.
