POLFLAM impressed at BAU 2025 with its innovative fire-resistant glazing solutions, GAIA and BR.

A triumph for POLFLAM – there’s no better way to describe this year’s BAU construction trade fair in Munich. Every day, from morning until evening, our booth was bustling with visitors from Europe, Asia, North America, and Africa. Among them were current and prospective business partners, architects interested in visually striking fire-resistant glazing solutions, as well as designers and investors seeking high-performance products manufactured with sustainability in mind.

According to official statistics from the organizers, BAU 2025 — which ran for five days (January 11 15) — hosted 2,230 exhibitors from 58 countries and attracted over 180,000 visitors in total, with 44% travelling from abroad.

At the booth, two standout technologies drew particular interest. The first was GAIA – the world’s first low-carbon fire-resistant glass. The second was POLFLAM’s flagship solution, the BR frameless fire-resistant glazing system, which allows for the creation of exceptionally large-scale partitions. On site, POLFLAM’s technical experts were joined by sales representatives from key markets, leading to highly substantive and focused discussions tailored to the specific needs of visitors from different regions.
