Mark Thompson, Chief Executive Officer of the Friedman Operating Group, is pleased to announce that Peter Dixen has been named CEO of A+W Software GmbH.

In this role he is succeeding Dr. Uwe Schmid, who has left to pursue other opportunities.  We would like to thank Dr. Schmid for his role in strengthening A+W’s product offering and market leadership under his tenure and we wish him every success in his future career. Peter has assumed full responsibility for the worldwide operations of the A+W Software operating unit.

Peter brings more than 20 years of glass and fenestration IT industry experience to his new role and is highly focused upon customer satisfaction and long-lasting partnerships with A+W customers. His previous experience includes 13 years as IT application and internal software development director for an international glass company, A+W support manager focused on key accounts and, most recently, A+W Vice President Sales & Marketing. Apart from his native language, Danish, Peter also speaks English, German, French and Japanese.

Based on his long-term experience in the glass industry, Peter will focus on customer satisfaction as well as long-lasting partnerships and cooperation with all A+W customers. The requirements and expectations of customers will be the main goal for all sections of A+W, with a specific emphasis on strategic product development to meet the needs of A+W customers today and tomorrow.

As part of our continued commitment to provide exceptional products and services Peter will provide experienced leadership and help drive ongoing investment in A+W Software, a key business unit within the Friedman Operating Group.
