CMS acquired GFP, a venetian company specialized in cutting tables and seaming machines for glass processing.

CMS, a company of SCM Group, leader in the production of numerically controlled machines for advanced material, plastic, metal, stone and glass processing, acquired GFP, a venetian company specialized in cutting tables and seaming machines for glass processing.

The operation allows CMS Glass Technology to reinforce its global presence in the sector of machines and technological solutions for glass processing.

The operation will give to CMS Glass Technology – say Giovanni Negri, CEO of CMS, and Dorian Campagnola, Director of CMS Glass Technology division – the opportunity to expand the range of products and services in a strategic way guaranteeing our customers more technological solutions to win the most demanding challenges of efficiency and quality.”

Claudio Pietrobelli and Dario Zenere, shareholders of GFP, will maintain their strategic roles in GFP in sales, design, manufacturing anc service. They will be supported by Dorian Campagnola to ensure the correct alignment with CMS Glass Technology.
