Vitro Architectural Glass, the largest glass manufacturer in North America, has announced that longtime employee Logan Tautkus-Berry has been appointed to Senior Technical Service Representative/Sustainability.

Logan first joined the Vitro team in 2015 as a Research & Development Engineer, where he played a pivotal role in developing and launching Solarban® 90 glass, the world’s first quad-silver low-e glass. Previously dedicated to driving innovation behind the scenes, Logan has now stepped into a more customer-focused role, conducting comprehensive audits, ensuring customers are following evolving policies and regulations and managing sustainability and technical documentation.

As a Research & Development Engineer, Logan was responsible for the development of three major recent innovations: Sungate ThermL™ Glass, Spandrelite™ Glass, and BirdSmart® Bird Safe Glass. He also led the efforts for the rigorous testing of BirdSmart® Bird Safe Glass while also pioneering best practices. This accomplishment is particularly impactful, as the industry has yet to develop a set of standards for testing bird friendly glazings.

When he's not working, Logan spends his time running, crafting fruit wines and handling dad duties to as a father of two boys.
