At BAU 2019, Solarlux will be presenting its bespoke glazing solutions for a variety of applications under the banner “Give ideas space”.

Creative freedom will be offered not only by the products themselves, but also by the open-concept stand, which will give visitors plenty of space to think.

Solarlux’s original stand concept for BAU 2019 focuses on the company’s highlights: the bi-folding door family, the cero sliding window and its balcony glazing, all of which will be on display on the product island. The profile shapes for the system lines will also be available for visitors to look at on the surrounding tables.

Reference tables will illustrate the versatility of Solarlux’s products, while the company’s “Faltbar” cafeteria will offer a place for customers to discuss their projects openly with a refreshing drink in hand. “Give ideas space” is the theme of the exhibit, encompassing all of the stand’s different areas.

Typical Solarlux

Unlike its neighbours, the Solarlux stand won’t need extra height to stand out from the crowd – instead, the company will be presenting its portfolio in low-level structures. Less is more, and the product island will provide a clear, bright focal point for the stand.

This will be home to two versions of the bi-folding door: the Highline aluminium system and the wooden version, Woodline. Thanks to their outstanding design, both variants afford architects and retailers great creative freedom when outlining rooms and facades.

One of the key unique selling points for the aluminium variant, Highline, is its slender profile sight line of just 99 millimetres in the mitre. With its unique wooden surface, the Woodline can lend any space a furniture-like quality.

Solarlux exclusively uses premium timber from certified sustainable forestry, applying a complex surface treatment to ensure that it remains resistant to the effects of the weather for many years. Thanks to the choice of five floor track types, both systems can be used in a wide variety of application areas.

The two final spaces on the Solarlux product island will be filled by the cero III sliding window and the SL 23 all-glass sliding system. With pane sizes of up to 15 m², the triple-glazed cero III offers unparalleled burglar resistance (RC3), and its wide openings make it the perfect foundation for a wide range of architectural styles. Solarlux will also be using BAU 2019 to present a new extra to stop the outside getting in:

the SL 23 sliding system is a highly promising solution in terms of sound insulation and facade design. In this product, Solarlux has combined improved protection from wind, rain and noise in a sliding system that also offers an absolutely timeless glazing look with beautiful straight lines. Thanks to its highly sturdy nature, the frameless, flexible glazing is perfect for use on high-up floors, and it also offers sound insulation up to 13 dB.

BAU 2019 will be held from 14 – 19 January 2019 at the Munich exhibition grounds, Germany.

Solarlux’s exhibit will be located in Hall C1, Stand 329.
