Regency Glass has successfully integrated a Sparklike Laser Portable into their quality control process.

Supplied by Sparklike’s official UK and Ireland distributor Inagas, the purchase further cements Regency’s ongoing commitment to outstanding quality and is part of their continued investment programme to grow manufacturing capability, following the recent launch of the Regency Triple® featuring Corning® Enlighten Glass.

Real Evidence Behind Every Quality Claim

For Regency, quality control isn’t about assumptions, it’s about proof. Deb Fitzmartin, Chief Quality Officer at Regency, explains that the Sparklike Laser Portable, used alongside two Sparklike Handheld devices, gives the team day-to-day visibility into gas concentration at the end of the production line, turning that commitment into hard evidence for customers:

“At Regency, we don’t rely on assumptions. We want data to support our claims, to be able to prove we are exceeding the standards and delivering exceptional quality, every time. Using the Sparklike Laser Portable alongside two Sparklike Handheld devices allows us to understand and monitor gas concentration on a day-to-day basis, at the end of the production line. We’re able to provide real evidence, giving our customers peace of mind and assurance that they are buying quality when they buy from us.”

Exceeding Standard Across the Full Product Range

Regency’s gas concentration levels sit above the minimum industry standard across its entire range, and the Quality Department tests more frequently than regulations require to maintain that margin as the business grows. Deb continues:

“Our gas concentration levels exceed the minimum industry standard, across the entire product range. We spot check test more often than the regulations suggest and our Quality Department will continue to work to that level of detail, as we continue to expand. The Sparklike Laser can measure the gas concentration levels in units made with thick laminated glass, coated glass, standard triple glazed units as well as our brand-new product, Regency Triple. It is easy to use, provides immediate results and can provide a data log so has really complemented our manufacturing and quality check processes. The whole ethos at Regency is built around providing great quality and service to our customer and the Sparklike Laser Portable has helped us underpin that commitment.”

A Longstanding Partnership with Inagas

Regency’s confidence in Inagas didn’t start with the Laser Portable, it’s built on years of working together on the company’s offline gas filling requirements. Deb adds:

“We have a longstanding relationship with Inagas, having worked with them over the years to satisfy our offline gas filling requirements, so we were confident that they were best equipped to support us in our need for technology to measure the gas concentration within our units. We’ve always been happy with the products and service received from them and this latest equipment purchase is no exception. We look forward to working with them into the future for their continued support with the very latest gas filling and testing solutions.”

Inagas: Consistent Detail Through Rapid Growth

Chris Kemp, Sales Director at Inagas, points out that even as Regency’s operation has drastically upscaled through its recent investment programme, the attention to detail behind every unit hasn’t slipped:

“Regency Glass is a shining example of an IGU manufacturer committed to producing quality as standard. Their customers have come to expect their units to be the highest standard and the Sparklike Laser Portable will provide them with the assurance they are delivering on those expectations. The recent period of investment at Regency has seen their operation drastically upscale, but it’s very apparent that as things evolve, the level of detail that goes into manufacturing each of their units remains the same. It’s been an exciting year for Regency and we at Inagas look forward to seeing them build on their successes long into the future.”
