As of December 31, 2001 Mr. Karl Lenhardt has resigned his responsibilities as Managing Director of Lenhardt Maschinenbau GmbH in Neuhausen-Hamberg.

In the field of equipment used for the production of insulating glass, Lenhardt is considered the worldwide market leader, due to its innovative technical solutions for high tech production lines. Due to the brand´s high quality and performance, Lenhardt enjoys the approval of its many satisfied customers around the globe.

“I feel pride in being responsible for building an enterprise that is today regarded as a very successful and well structured medium sized machine manufacturer with a motivated team of loyal and highly qualified employees”, explains Karl Lenhardt.

Innovative pioneering efforts, which had a direction giving impact on the market, provided milestones along the way of Karl Lenhardt during the last 35 years since the foundation of the company, especially the development and launching of TPS® (THERMO PLASTIC SPACER), which is state of the art technology and worldwide the most flexible IG production system available.

“I feel it is my responsibility to hand over the reins to a younger generation”, explains Karl Lenhardt. Therefore he has named as his successor in this demanding position, Mr. Volker Abt, who has been guiding the fortunes of the company and employees since the beginning of this year.
