HORN completes furnace repair for AmBev

Recently, the performance test could be carried out on the repaired F1 furnace of AmBev in Brazil - with success. The project, the overhaul of the 360 t/d end fired furnace, has thus been successfully completed.

AmBev is a Brazilian brewing company with its headquarters in São Paulo, Brazil. 

AmBev operates in 19 countries and its portfolio comprises more than 30 brands of drinks.

The furnace was upgraded with the latest technologies improving its performace in terms of safety, environment, energy consumption, productivity and quality. Recently, the performance test could be carried out on the repaired F1 furnace of AmBev in Brazil - with success.

The furnace rebuild of a 360 t/d end fired glass melting furnace with three production lines was now successfully carried out. After 14 years of operation, the old furnace was shut down to carry out a cold repair.
