H.B. Fuller Co. stated that it reached asset purchase deal with Henkel KgaA, wherein the former company would buy the insulating glass sealant business of the latter company.

The acquiring company stated that Henkel's insulating glass sealant business manufactures sealants for windows used in both residential and commercial construction.

H.B. Fuller said that the by acquiring Henkel's insulating glass sealant business, it would create a global business with a stronger and more diverse product offering. H.B. Fuller stated that the deal includes purchase of Henkel's manufacturing equipment, inventory, and intellectual property, but not assumed debt or liabilities.
