FTI is proud to support the third edition of Performance-Based Façade Design (PBFD), taking place in Venice, Italy, from September 11–13, 2025.

Join global leaders in architecture, engineering, and façade innovation for three vibrant days of content-rich seminars, immersive site visits, critical debates, and high-level networking—centered around how façade technologies are shaping the sustainable cities of the future.

The final program is live, and registration is open!

PBFD 2025 begins with the seminar Technology Meets Nature, featuring façade innovation working with timber, stainless steel, pressed terracotta, biobased materials, and more. Keynotes will be delivered by Michele Pasca di Magliano of Zaha Hadid Architects, Agnes Koltay of Koltay Facades. Additional featured speakers include Stephen Katz (Gensler Chicago), Laura Craft (Staticus), Joan Tarrus (Sedak), Ingo Stelzer (Kuraray), Massimo Colombari (Simeon), Peter Dushenski (GlasCurtain), and Caroline Kruit (Metadecor). The PBFD Advisory Group—set to be announced on June 30th—will also be introduced during the opening session.

Day two focuses on Façades as Drivers for Sustainable Developments, a debate-led program moderated by Mikkel K. Kragh (Aarhus University). Topics include adaptive reuse strategies led by Mitsu Edwards, Damian Rogan, Lisa Ramming, and Alessandro Baldini from Eckersley O’Callaghan's global offices, and predictive maintenance frameworks presented by Lars Anders (Priedemann Façade Specialists). The day concludes with a keynote from Thomas Winterstetter (Werner Sobek) on High-tech and Growing: Innovative and Sustainable Modern Façade Technology.

The event culminates in The Grand Finale networking evening at the breathtaking 16th-century Palazzo Nani Bernardo, followed by a day of exclusive off-site technical experiences on Saturday, September 13—including a tour of the Simeon factory and a visit to the De Stefani winery, where architectural innovation meets regional heritage and wine culture.
