Innovation and 50 Years of Excellence in Glass

Forel renews its appointment with the Polish glass market and returns as a key player at Glass Tech Poland, the leading trade fair for the glass industry in Poland.

The first edition proved to be particularly significant for Forel: the EM HT vertical grinding machine captured the audience’s attention through on-demand demos, earning the medal for innovation and outstanding achievements in the field of glass processing. The award was presented during the Glass-Tech Poland Fair Medal ceremony, which celebrates exhibitors who have made a tangible impact on the advancement of the industry.

This year, riding the wave of the 50th anniversary celebrations, Forel renews its presence at the upcoming edition of Glass Tech Poland, scheduled for 26–28 May 2026 at the Ptak Warsaw Expo, to showcase major innovations in the field of edge processing.

The new FG for simultaneous seaming and grinding

At the heart of Forel’s 2026 participation is the ambition to introduce the new FG to the Polish market as well — the advanced solution for simultaneous seaming and grinding of glass.

The FG represents a further evolution of Forel’s range of vertical edge processing machines: a top-tier machine set to revolutionise the production process thanks to its unmatched operational speed. Equipped with two operating heads and four spindles, managed by six rotations in combination with the axial movements of the suction cup carriage and the vertical bridge, the FG performs seaming and raw edge grinding in a single cycle, delivering precise results in reduced cycle times.

The ability to combine two distinct processes in a single operation, with speed and precision, offers concrete advantages for flat glass processors: the FG is indeed the ideal solution to feed high-productivity insulating glass lines and advanced glass plant logistics systems, such as Sorting Systems.
