Launched by Emirates Glass - ARMAX demonstrates superior technology and product accessibility locally with commitment to working closer to customers.

The architecture and construction sector is continuously witnessing advances in glass solutions and keeping up with this trend is ARMAX – the latest anti-reflective glass by Emirates Glass – a wholly owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments PJSC and a leading architectural glass provider in the Middle East.

As part of the concerted efforts to meet the growing demand for complex glass solutions, Emirates Glass has expanded its local manufacturing capabilities to be the only local coater of anti-reflective glass. ARMAX demonstrates Emirates Glass continuous R&D efforts and commitment to bring out new and advanced glass products that meet the design and build needs of the modern age.

Ideal for use within the architectural glass & façade, retail and entertainment industry, ARMAX glass has the ability to significantly reduce the incident light reflection to just a small fraction of conventionally coated or uncoated glass. The anti-reflective property of ARMAX coated glass makes it an ideal choice for applications that require maximum see-through and optical transparency of the glass.

Commenting on the product launch, Rizwanulla Khan, Executive President of Emirates Glass LLC said, “The launch of ARMAX is a strategic initiative by us aimed at pushing boundaries in the glass industry. ARMAX represents intelligent glass science and skillful application of manufacturing and fabrication know-how with which we plan to increasingly contribute to the GCC’s architectural glass market. ARMAX for us is a demonstration of strong and capable manufacturing to international standards in our home, the UAE.”

With some impressive specification features, ARMAX is designed to cater to numerous industries and applications. With an overall reflectance level as low as 1.7% – in comparison to 8% for regular clear glass – and a visible light transmission of 97%, ARMAX-coated glass appears almost invisible and is suitable for all applications where high transparency and clarity are important.

Aside from letting sunlight into the interior of a building, one of the main reasons for using glass in so many applications is that it allows us to see through it. ARMAX is ideal for usage in luxury apartments and villas, over viewing decks and platforms of iconic skyscrapers, shop windows and display cases for retail outlets, museums and galleries. Emirates glass has solved the issue of unescapable reflections with ARMAX – vision perfected.

Over the years, Emirates Glass has launched over 100 different products and the launch of ARMAX adds yet another high performance glass product, guaranteeing superior quality standards.
